Opt-In For Telepathy Permissions
Tennal is a (mind-)reader aka telepath. His reading of people will be on purely an ooc opt-in level, so this post is to help give information and collect conversations about the use of his abilities.
There are three aspects to his power.
1. Surface Reading - Tennal describes this as being one step beyond body language and difficult to turn off. It's the current emotion someone is feeling, their vague intentions. Tennal tends to hear this as a low drone coming off of everyone, but he can focus on specific people. He cannot canonically get a surface read from everyone, some people have mental defenses they've created and some people are naturally impossible to read.
2. Deep Reading - This is more intense, and lets Tennal truly poke around in people's brains to find out much more specifically what they're thinking and to look for information that they're not currently thinking about. It's not something he does very often, partly because it expends a lot of mental energy and partly because some people can feel him poking around in their brain and it's highly illegal, so it tends to get him in trouble.
3. Other Impressions - Tennal sees most architects (those with the power to give mental commands) in his canon as giving off an aura, like light radiating from a star. If your character has some kind of mental ability, there's the opportunity for Tennal to notice it.

Anything else? NOPE. Bob will have no idea Tennal is doing this and I'm happy to mess around with the possibility that it doesn't come up for a while if Tennal isn't likely to explain he can do this

Can Tennal do surface reading of your character? Yes! Rhys has good shields as an empath himself, but tends to "bleed" a bit on surface emotions and thoughts, as he's the sort to feel his emotions very freely.
Are you interested in plotting for deep reading if it comes up? Yes, we can totally poke at it, though Rhys' shields are strong due to both willpower and magical defenses attached to his warding necklace.
Are there any other impressions he would or should have? Rhys is an empath and, due to being an incubus, might read as slightly different from a human...his aura is pretty potent.
Anything else? Will add anything I think of later!

Are you interested in plotting for deep reading if it comes up? Yes
Are there any other impressions he would or should have? Krem and Frank both have a lot of military and extramilitary training and violence in their background, and are both almost always threat-assessing any given situation. Delaney is a Changeling, and as such, his mind is sort of Outside Human Comprehension[tm], especially beneath the most surface level.
Anything else? Figured I might as well do all three of my boys even though Tennal's only met Krem so far! Feel free to tag Frank or Delaney whenever as well.
